Custom Trophy vs Ready Made Trophy

Budget
Custom Trophies are generally more expensive than ready made trophies. This is mainly because of the method use to make the trophy. It could be a mixture of acrylic and wood with a special finishing of say a surface sandblasting with gold powder added onto the surface matching this stunning idea with a transparent film UV print at the back of the trophy. Or it could be several pieces of wood cut out together with different finishing. However, there are several ready made trophies that are more expensive than a customized trophy. Like huge and heavy trophies for example. So make sure you get your Trophy Supplier to share with you ideas, pictures, to better understand if your event would be suited for customize or ready made trophies.
Design
When choosing custom vs ready made trophies, you would need to know your design. If you want your design to be the one and only design out there. Customization is the way to go. For example, would you ever see this trophy anywhere else?
This is a one and only design. Specially customized for our client. If you are afraid of being bold to go for designs not yet shown in the market then going for conventional designs would also be great. For example an oscar award is always very grand and well perceived as an honorable award.
Event Theme
An event like annual dinner would normally be more towards a simple crystal trophy so that it would be easy to display and giveaway. For example:
If your event is for a golf tournament where the table will maybe be outdoor. You might want to go for the cup trophy where everyone can gaze on it. Smaller custom trophies might not get any attention, making the event not that memorable.
Purpose
If you want to show your employees that you recognize their efforts, you would want a custom made trophy with their names on it and even the years they have served the company.
On the other hand, if the purpose is for charity, you might want to go for a ready made trophy and focus more on the charity event. This doesn’t mean we will simply pick up any trophy but we will help you choose something less time consuming so most of your time can be focused on the charity.
