The price to customize a Trophy in Malaysia ranges from as low as RM30 per piece to as high as RM20,000 per piece.
This will depend on:
Size of the Customized Trophy
This is a very straightforward criterion, the larger the trophy, the more expensive it will be and the weight will be directly concurrent with this factor as well. Size is referred to by dimension which is normally length x width x height.
Quantity of the Customized Trophies
This is also a very straightforward criterion, the more trophy units required, the cheaper the per-unit cost will be. The weight will be heavier for more units but often will not influence delivery fees that much.
Material of the Customized Trophies
Generally, Metal and Crystal Trophies are quite the same price but Acrylic is relatively much cheaper. The main reason is the mold price. You normally need a mold for Metal and Crystal which would normally cost around RM800 to RM2,000 for the mold itself. Acrylic comes in big sheets of different colors and thickness which we can cut to custom.
The number of finishings on the Customized Trophies
Most Customized Trophies have one finishing: inner laser, engraving, UV print, sandblasting, sticker, epoxy, etc. Some Customized Trophies do have double finishing, for example, engraving with added gold onto engraving parts. This will increase the trophy per-unit cost as more materials and time are spent on a Trophy.
Layers of the Customized Trophies
This is also a very straightforward criterion, the more layers a trophy has, the more expensive a per-unit cost will be. It not only requires more raw material to produce more layers but also more time and manpower which is directly related to the price.
The complexity of the Trophy design
A more complex design Trophy will require a longer time to produce, increasing labor cost per unit Customized Trophy. For example, a die-cut Acrylic Trophy will be much more expensive than a normal rectangular shaped Acrylic Trophy.
